Ok so I’ve been away for a while.

Not actually going anywhere mind, just not on here complaining and trying to be funny. I actually couldn’t remember where I was last time I posted anything, so had a look and realised a lot of what I said that time was also I didn’t remember what I’d last said.

Im really bad at writing when I’m not stuck in a hospital room and my only concern about the outside is should the window be open or not.

S-wheat Jesus, I’ve missed bread

Bread & wheat!! It really is true that you don’t know what you’ve got till its gone.

After weeks of “naked burgers” (which I’m assured is just a fancy way of saying burgers with no bun) and alternatives to regular bread, I’m finally allowed white bread again, and I’m testing brown bread just for good measure.

This has also opened up a whole new world of snacks and cakes, yeah I’m talking Yum Yums, Fondant Fancies & Jam Sandwich Creams which I have been stuffing myself with for 4 days now, in the interest of testing of course…

LOFFLEX? What the hell is a LOFFLEX?

Ok, this one is a bit of an education piece on the LOFFLEX diet so it might be a bit boring. You’ve had your warning, skip it if you don’t care but I thought it was a good idea because I’m going to be jabbering on about it for MONTHS.

A word from my Mum

Jake: Ok so my mum wanted to share her thoughts on the last 6 weeks as came to the end of our hospital stay.
I’ve not been allowed to change any of the words in the below, so apologies for the OTT compliments in places. They made me cringe too.

Mum: “I’ve just read Jakes account of the past 6 weeks and a diagnosis of IBD.
Sounds so simple when you say it, but nothing about the past 2 months have been simple.
